Hello everyone!

Since some of you are interested in learning jazz solos, I will add one jazz solo to the announcements and we will check it out on FRIDAYS. This is a completely voluntary activity.

The first one that we will be doing is "Let's get Lost" by Chet Baker. We will learn the first solo (It starts at 1:54 and finished in 2:42)

Get into Anmol's challenge to uplift your ear-training skills to another level!

Warm Regards,

Ena

Good Morning everyone!

Today we will continue with the solo "Let's Get Lost" by Chet Baker. Let's see if we can sing it all together!!

Also, we will analyse the phrases and target notes of the improv. We will discuss about the new solo for next week.
See you at 2:45 for those who are available and willing to push on their scatting!

Warm Regards,
Ena

Good evening everyone!

Congratulations to all those who were able to make it today! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
Next week we are learning the solo by Chet Baker, " It could happen to you" from the album "Chet Baker sings"

This one is slower and shorter, and since it has the scat syllables is a bit easier to pick up. Let's see if we can sing it together!

Good evening everyone and congratulations to those who could make it today for the Anmols Challenge!!

Our next transcription is going to be a really special one. This time we will see if we can feel comfortable in the "silence" between other things.

We will transcribe the solo by Sonny Rollins inย "St Tomas" From 00:55 to 1:32 (First and Second Chorus)

The Tune is based on the traditional Bahamian ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ธ folksong "Sponger Money", take a look!

See you next Friday at 2:45!!
